Why do we use Pickleheads to run events
As part of our social programme we use Pickleheads to make sure we have a variety of competitive and fun formats. By using the App we can seed players to get the best match ups, quickly take results and more accurately keep track on the results and the winners of events.
Although we can add guest players on events to help me out I request that players register on our Gravity Pickleball Pickleheads group.

Popcorn
Casual + Social
A casual and social format and great for mixed levels and abilities. Partners and opponents change randomly each round making for a chance to meet and play with as many partners as possible.
The winner is the player with the highest win %
Up and Down The River
Competitive
A competitive format where winners move up courts, losers move down a court after each round. Players will play 3 - 5 matches on the same court before switching courts.
For every win you earn match points (Higher the court you play the more points that win is worth)
Gauntlett
Dynamic
Players are grouped by skill levels. Based on the results winning players will draw more challenging matches and runners up get easier ones after each round.
The winner is the player with the highest win %.
Claim The Throne
Competitive
A seeded format where winners move up a court after each game and runners up move down a court splitting partners each round.
For every win you earn match points (Higher the court you play the more points that win is worth)
Cream of the crop
Balanced
Players are placed into groups and partner with every player in that group. Winners will be moved onto court 1 and the next best players to court 2.
Fixed Pair
Competitive
For fixed teams who want to play together throughout the event.
